# 1 How I Found My Purpose (And Why SARAVIK Exists Because of It)
1. Stay curious and open
I was lost and didn’t know what to do with my life. I was certain that I wanted to create something of my own, but I had no idea where to start. It never crossed my mind that what I was really searching for was a purpose, a greater goal. That realization only came a year later while building SARAVIK.
As a kid, I loved creating things, inventing games, and watching my mom craft things herself. Even before her, her father was a carpenter and a very artistic man. My mom is still the most creative person I know, and what I admired most was her ability to create and fix things without worrying about boundaries. I was also fascinated by what some people achieved in their lifetimes. Some were gone, others alive, but all of them had one thing in common: they were human, and they lived for something bigger than themselves.
2. Experience
At 18, I became interested in clothes. I experimented with different styles but always struggled to find one that felt right. I wanted simplicity, free from loud or flashy designs. Eventually, I decided I needed to start my own brand. I knew what I liked and what I didn’t. I promised myself that if I pursued it, I would give everything I had and strive to make it perfect.
3. Reflect
From that moment, I had something meaningful to work on every single day. I became aware of my passions because I was living them through the process of building SARAVIK. Looking back, I realize that if I had not been passionate, I would have given up at the first setback. These passions had always been part of me. I just wasn’t fully aware of them until I started cultivating them.
4. Cultivate and commit to your passions
Having something I loved was great, but I soon learned that passions without direction eventually fade. Without a greater cause to look forward to, what you are doing can begin to feel like nothing at all. That is why purpose matters. I found mine this way. You may find yours differently, and it will be unique to you.
5. Connect passion to purpose
During the process of creating SARAVIK, I realized one day that what I loved even more than clothes was the feeling of having something to do every day, tasks driven by passion. That was the moment I understood what I wanted SARAVIK to stand for. I chose to make its purpose helping others live with meaning, and to fight the problem of people feeling lost and unsure of what to do with their lives.
6. Listen and learn
Around this time, I met someone who specialized in marketing. He believed in what I was building and decided to join me. Together we began thinking about how to bring this cause to life and make SARAVIK stand apart from other brands. That is how the EXPERIENCE. program was born. Our plan is to document as many experiences as possible, created by you, to inspire others to discover what they love. This is how we hope to help people live with purpose rather than settle for a life not worth living. Experiences are essential to finding purpose. They show you what you love and what you don’t, and that process is the same for everyone. For me it was fashion, creating, designing, storytelling, and more. For you it might be something entirely different, but whatever it is, follow it. You have nothing to lose.
7. You will know when you find it
Living with purpose has taught me how fulfilling and motivating it is. It makes you want to dedicate all the time in the world to pursuing it. It feels like playing a game with levels you cannot completely see. As you move forward, you explore those levels, face victories, and endure challenges, yet every step brings you closer to your goal.
